eMASK 218W is a high quality finishing device mod with interior water repellent construction and even the mesh for venting repels water so rain for example doesn't stop you from vaping. The device also has a mask either side with galactic outer space nebulae design central behind the mask. The device runs off duel 18650 batteries and also has LED display with 5 options or turn the lighting off. Max power 218W and a large ventilation mask. Get the various galatic outer space nebula scenery under the backlight panel.
The eMask 218W is slightly larger than average but not too big and has some reassuring weight to it, it is a rectangular shape with cut corners, it has a nice hexagonal fire button and the device is described as excellent when it comes to ergonomics. Both sides have an identical ventilation mask, one side is fixed the other is removable to fit your batteries. The mask is made up of a central section that has triangular cutouts, behind this is a galactic outer space nebulae design, to each side of this central section is strips of very fine mesh. The front of the device has the large hexagonal fire button at the top, at the bottom we have the - and + buttons, then very bottom the micro USB port, housed centrally on the front is the 0.96" screen. The bottom has branding and safety stamps etched on very deeply demonstrating the thickness of the metal (this is a high quality solid device). Moving to the top of the device we have a central 510 plate with cog design, this surrounds the gold plated, spring loaded 510.The devices absolutely can be confirmed no rattle whatsoever in fact the build quality is impressive.
The two sides of the eMASK match each other that exactly you need to look at the base where there is a notch to pull off the battery door side. The door is secured by large magnets and is very secure, the battery compartment is clean and tidy. The device is the usual 5 clicks on and 5 clicks off and once on you are met by a nice bright display with a wealth of information, the layout is very well done so despite there being plenty of info everything can be clearly read and understood. At the top of the display we have the wattage (this changes to temperature when using a temp control wire), below this to the left we have resistance and to the right the amps, below the resistance we have a vertical battery status bar and to the right of this at the top we have the volts (watts when in temp control), below the volts to the left we have seconds vaped and to the right the M mode, at the bottom of the screen to the left we have the preheat and to the right we have the mode. Using the device is easy, 3 clicks of the fire button highlights first the resistance, then you can move around the screen using the + and - buttons then press the fire button when on the item you want to set. Selecting resistance allows you to reset it, selecting the battery bar will tell you information about the device including software and hardware versions. Selecting the preheat allows you to choose between norm, soft, hard or user (custom curve), when you select the mode it gives you the choice of Kanthal, SS316, NI200, TI and TCR. When you are in temp control the volts changes to watts and now becomes information that will highlight on the screen so you can select wattage for temp control. The only other item that highlights as you move around the screen is your memory, as i already mentioned you have the choice of M (nothing selected) M1, M2 or M3. There are a couple of combination key press features the first of which is fire and + together which locks and unlocks the device, finally fire and - together brings up the LED settings. When you choose to have the LED's on it lights up the galactic outer space nebulae design on the opposite side to the batteries, and lights up while vaping you can have random colour, Blue, Red, Green, Purple or turn them off.
The eMASK fires instantly and seems very accurate, especially the travel of the fire button. You can fit up to 26mm tanks without overhang which covers the majority of tanks also the device seemed very efficient as the duel 18650's did seem to give slightly more vape time than usual. The eMASK supports 1.5v balanced charging and is fully firmware upgradeable.
